Faculty Coordinator of Instructional Technology

About

As I have worked with technology in the academic arena for many years, from setting up library systems on DOS or the Apple IIE to being responsible for the campus LMS and the training of faculty, I have finally found my place.  My position as the university's instructional technologist has apparently been the position awaiting me for some time.
In the process of working this position and teaching six to nine hours a semester, my goals are more focused on when and when not to use technologies in teaching.  The motivations of faculty as well as students is of high interest to me in future research as well.
The areas of technology, language learning, self-efficacy, and autonomous learners are some additional interests.
